Culture row: Something's Got To Give

Posted by Joe Riley on August 22, 2007 8:53 AM |

Even the best knicker elastic in the world cannot measure up to the challenge of maintaining the decorum of those at the centre of the Capital of Culture row. Something's got to give. And soon.

How can there be a reasonably perceived 2008 celebraton when the elected leader of the council, Warren Bradley, is calling for the head of the council employee (Jason Harborow) charged with making the city's culture year an international success.
It makes a Punch and Judy show look like a vicar's tea party.
