Cry God for Harry, England And St George

Posted by Joe Riley on May 17, 2007 11:29 AM |

Prince Hal, despite his own supposed protestations, is not going to serve in Iraq. One supposes that a tank bearing the Royal Standard may be something of a natural target.

I jest of course. But not about the actual subject, when other mother's princes have been slaughtered in a war which should never have occurred in the first place.
In my book, if you join the Army, you follow the Army. It is not a hobby.
Edward couldn' even hack it in the Marines back at base.
So why give the royals apprenticeships in the armed forces after the usual regulatuion trip to university to get a crackpot degree?
Harry would have been better doing as course in nighclub management.
Or auditioning for a role in the remake of 'Allo 'Allo - wearing his Nazi uniform.
